Statement
The desire to capture space, time, emotion, and experience often cannot be fully reflected on canvas. My work tends to be more suggestive than representative. Through my painting process, I create a unique visual language that expresses my identity, using color to convey strong emotions.
Each piece I produce varies significantly. Some are finely painted with techniques such as Japanese or Italian paper, while others incorporate more complex materials and collages. In all my artworks, there is a flow, a sense of discovering an image rather than creating a fixed representation. I believe we do not need to set universal limits; we can explore new forms without boundaries. Each visible fragment feels infinite.
Nothing is predetermined. Everything begins with a feeling, and the artwork develops organically, representing a collaboration between the unconscious and the conscious mind.
As an artist, I've gone through various phases, drawing inspiration from figurative painting, geometric designs, landscapes, collages, and conceptual minimalism. Each stage has taught me something new, and this blending of styles reveals my unique painting process. It confronts the visibility of abstraction while I strive to remain true to my feelings.
Currently, I am excited by the results of my work. I explore the possibilities of figuration supported by stylistic abstraction. Working on canvases of different sizes has allowed me to delve into oil painting, my favorite medium. I also enjoy incorporating inks, watercolors, colored pencils, and natural pigments. Using thick layers of paint, I enhance the material, turning colors into a strange blend of light and darkness, memory and separation. Through this, I aim to transport viewers to a space or time that we have lived or one that is yet to come.
